General Questions
I’m interested in your work, how do I know if a piece is still available?
If a piece on my website doesn’t say SOLD, it is still available for purchase.
Are the sizes listed height x width or width x height?
Height x Width
Do you have pieces that are available that aren’t on your website?
No, all available pieces are posted to my website. With that said, check back often! Also, be aware that my email subscribers are the first to hear about new pieces that are available for purchase. So, be sure to subscribe!
How do I purchase your work?
If you’re interested in purchasing a particular piece, click its “Inquire” button, fill out the form and myself or someone from my team will be in touch with you. If you have a general interest in my work, but would like my insight and suggestions of what pieces of mine would best fit in your space, feel free to send an email to Hello@JessicaWachter.com. A few helpful pieces of information to include in that email would be 1.) Dimensions of your wall 2.) Photos of your space 3.) Links to pieces of mine (sold or available) that you’re drawn to and why.

Costs
How do your prices work?
Prices of all my work are based on size. Some works are framed and, therefore, their cost is based on size + the cost of framing.
How does sales tax work?
You can plan on a rate of about 7.25%.
Do you ever offer discounts?
I don’t offer discounts. However, the one exception is occasional opportunities I extend to my email subscribers to purchase particular pieces at a 20% discount for a few days, only.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, all invoicing is done online and all major credit cards are accepted.
Are there any other costs I should be aware of?
Yes, shipping costs. More information in the Shipping section.
Donations Block
Donations
My team and I are happy to consider your donation proposal. However, due to the large number of requests we receive, we cannot accept them all. The first step is to click the button below and fill out the form. Myself or someone from my team will be in touch with you from there.
Studio Visits Block
Studio Visits
I reserve my studio for my private creation process. Because it is my creative sanctuary it’s not open to the general public, I don’t host events and it’s not available for rent.
Can I come to your studio to see your work?
At this time, I’m not opening my studio to visitors. Instead, I post my work online for viewing and it’s also occasionally available to see in-person if I have a show at a gallery or event space. I certainly appreciate your interest in my work, though, so please subscribe to my newsletter to be the first to know about my upcoming shows and new work available to view online.
Commissions Block
Commissions
Simply put, I no longer take on commissions.
Oftentimes people think they can only get the feeling of a piece fitting perfectly in their space with a commission. And, yes, at first there may not be an available piece that fits your home and vision, but it’s been proven to me over and over again that in time the right one will be created and find its way to you!
Furthermore, sometimes all that’s needed to understand the potential of a piece you might not initially consider is a different perspective. With this said, if you’re interested in my insight and suggestions of what pieces of mine would best fit in your space, feel free to send an email to Hello@JessicaWachter.com. A few helpful pieces of information to include in that email would be 1.) Dimensions of your wall 2.) Photos of your space 3.) Links to pieces of mine (sold or available) that you’re drawn to and why.
Shipping & Delivery Block
Shipping & Delivery
What if I don't live in the Bismarck area?
Not a problem! My work is shipped all over North America. In most cases, custom wooden crates are made for my larger pieces to ensure the safety of the piece and they’re shipped by ground freight.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs vary depending on many factors. In general, you can plan on your shipping cost being anywhere from 10% to 20% of the cost of your piece. Myself or someone from my team will be in touch with you, personally, about arranging the shipping and will be sure to offer you a quote before moving forward with anything. You will be billed separately for shipping costs. In most cases, my clients pay the shipping provider directly.
How long will it take for me to receive my piece?
It typically takes about a month (give or take a few weeks) for you to receive your piece from time of purchase.
Can I arrange to pick up my piece from you?
Yes, a pick-up arrangement can be made for the Bismarck-Mandan, North Dakota area.
Can I pay you to deliver my piece?
I don’t do deliveries. The two options you have for getting your piece are shipping or in-person pick up.
Installation Block
Installation
Installation is actually much easier than it may seem. All of my original work comes ready to be installed. My pieces are typically either equipped with “D” hooks or they are wired. In the case that a piece has “D” hooks, this means it will hang off of two Monkey Hooks. I always include the special hooks you need with your delivery. When a piece is wired, it typically just requires one nail.
Can I pay you to install my piece?
Once you purchase your piece, if you need any support with installation, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have via email and/or hop on a quick FaceTime call with you to help. However, I’m not available to hire for the installation.
