LOST IN THE FOG

Never in my life have I been given a gift that has brought me so much emotion. I love the memory of seeing it for the first time ten years ago and not liking it because of its moodiness. I love that it would frequently stumble into my path and each time I saw it I loved it more and more. I loved the overwhelming experience of crying in my driveway when my husband surprised me with it. I loved the gratitude I felt watching it be hung moments later. I loved the joyful toasts with friends after the install. And now I love looking at it everyday and being reminded of talented friends, thoughtful husbands, and this big beautiful life.
